Andromeda. A new galaxy, a new start. That's the line, right? Or "a whole new galaxy to explore" depending on the recruiter. The second one's more official. Caroline's pretty sure she saw it on some of those damn brochures.
Honestly... even without familial prompting, Caroline would have been pretty intrigued. Maybe not enough to sign up on her own, but damn. Who doesn't love this exploration and discovery shit? As it is, she's ended up practically strong-armed into it. Well. Not like there's much left in the Milky Way for her.
At least Theo and Aggie came too. No way Caroline would have schlepped all the way out here with Dad unless she had both of them for backup. Fucking asshole.
...But none of that's on her mind right now. Right now? Caroline's squinting groggily up at an obnoxiously white ceiling wondering what anything even is. Bluh. She struggles to sit up and a couple of Initiative... doctors? nurses? techs? Come swooping in and talk at her way too fast. Right. Yeah. We're here. Great. Is there coffee in this nebula?
She swings her feet over the side of the table. And... nope. Her legs completely refuse to cooperate and Caroline just spills onto the floor. Great. Good. Yes. Welcome to Andromeda.
